• Hi,

I am editing the company website in connection with my job, and the bullet points in this one teaser doesn’t want to work the way it should. Here’s what it looks like:

What I want is of course that the two bullet points, which have moved up and alined with the previous two bullet points, should be placed below the second bullet point about the design guide requirements which they relate to – with an increased indent since they are ‘related’. I hope that makes sense. I am not a native English speaker so please bear with me.

Here’s a screenshot of my former colleague’s draft of the webpage – this is what it should look like:

We are updating the page, and I’ve had to rewrite some of the text. But when doing so, this issue with the bullet points occurred, and even if the ‘Text’ (the codes) look similar in both the page I created as well as the one my colleague created they come out completely different – even though they look correct and similar under ‘Visual’. I might just clone my colleague’s draft as well and start from the bottom – but that’s too much work.

I hope someone can help me with this asap????

  • Hi, selinac2020, based on the information that you provided, it’s hard to say what the exact issue is without providing additional information.

Are you able to copy and paste the “Text” code within the visual editor that is responsible for each of the bullet points formatting into a new reply here?

If the code is too much to paste in a new reply, use a service like https://pastebin.com/ to host the code and then include a link to the code.

    Hi Ian,

    Of course. Here’s the text:

    • <span style=”font-size: 14pt;”>Easy-to-recycle PET supporting a circular economy</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 14pt;”>The material meets all design guide requirements</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 14pt;”>It is 100% recyclable</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 14pt;”>It is clear</span>
    • <span style=”font-size: 14pt;”>Choose between trays in either rPET (85% recycled content) or crystal-clear DPET</span>

    Thanks for replying.

Okay, I don’t know why it applies those square bullet points to the text here. That doesn’t happen on WordPress.

Hi, selinac2020, thanks for providing the additional information.

I was expecting to see the li and ul HTML tags instead of the multiple span elements.

Please visit https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_li.asp for additional information about what I mean.

It looks like CSS is being used to make the bullet points.

In that case, can you please include the CSS for that page that features the bullet points?
