[Plugin: BulletProof Security] BulletProof redirecting all links to site root?

Today I installed BulletProof but immediately I have a problem. The main blog page loads fine. But now all WP links on the site to rss, categories, other pages, the login page, and the blog all get redirected to the site root (not the WP root) or 404 I guess.

After talking with host they recommended I delete the BP plugin since the server was going nuts since I installed it.

I hit the FTP and deleted BulletProof from the plugins dir. That did not fix the redirect issue. Then I reinstalled WP manually via FTP. That did not help.

Is this a .htaccess issue that BP changed. I have looked at the site root .htaccess and then the blog root and finally the wp-admin root. In all case I replace then with the original .htaccess.

I still can’t access anything on my blog other than the main (home) WP page of the site.

Can you offer any other suggestions? After read the issues others have had with BP I think my permalinks are not hosed. I can’t login to change them since I get redirected.
