  • Hi @daverussia,

If you would like the bundle price change automatically when buyers make any changes in bundled product quantity, please go to WPClever >> Product Bundles >> in “Change price,” choose “Yes”.

If you want to customize how it displays, please choose “Yes, custom selector” >> Update options https://prnt.sc/130tp8s

The result might look like this: https://prnt.sc/130tqz0

No, you misunderstood me, let me write differently. Let’s say there is an optional bundle of 5 different simple products, each product costs $ 10, the entire bundle, respectively, costs $ 50. I change the price for one of these simple products, instead of $ 10, it now costs $ 20, the bundle, respectively, should now cost $ 60. But on the archive pages, the bundle still costs $ 50!

    See screenshot here:
    https://prnt.sc/130yuzn

And the price on archive pages doesn’t change to the correct one until I manually update the bundle. This is very inconvenient, how can I fix it?

    Hi @daverussia,

Pls kindly check whether you choose Subtotal in Show Price in the back end setting or not. https://prnt.sc/13123sm

Now I tried putting this option in different positions, the Show Price option does not affect my question.
In optional bundles, the price on the archive page does not match the price on the product page.

I checked on my other site, same error. See screenshot.

    Hi @daverussia

Changing the bundled products on a single bundle page can’t affect this bundle price on the shop/archive pages.

In this case, we provided an option to change the price of a bundle on the shop/archive page here https://www.screencast.com/t/oRox3ii2

You also can add the “Custom display price” in each bundle https://www.screencast.com/t/DMUfJfWb5KF

Thank you very much for your answer, however you did not quite understand me.

I have about 200 bundles on my site, more than half of them are optional (Buyer can change the quantity of bundled products.)
So, from time to time I change prices for simple products included in these bundles. It is logical to assume that the price of a bundle in the shop should change, right? But this does not happen with optional bundles. The price on the shop/archive pages does not change, it remains the same. The price changes only on the product page (bundle page). With non-optional bundles everything is OK, the price is right everywhere.

To change the price of an optional bundle to the correct one, I have to update this bundle manually, which is extremely inconvenient given their large number. (By the way, in older versions of your plugin there was an excellent button “TOOLS – Update all bundles”. Now it has been removed for some reason.)

I checked this issue on my second site without other plugins with the default WordPress theme – the situation is similar.

    Hi @daverussia

The optional bundle hasn’t an exact price. The buyer still can change the quantity or remove a bundled product from the bundle (by changing the quantity to zero). So, that is why we can’t calculate and update the price for optional bundles.

In this case, please add the price description, e.g “From $100” or “Discounted 5%” in “Custom display price”. The buyer will understand that the price still bases on their choice on the single product page.

The problem is urgent. Previously, the plugin had a page for updating bundles, which solved this situation, now it is not there.

Yes, I agree. The problem is that the developer either cannot or does not want to understand what I am writing about.
