Bundled Item Help

I currently have an issue with the way I set up a ‘bundle’ in woo commerce.
So I have a bundle for sale that consists of multiple items within my store which is fine. My problem comes up when I try to give the customer an option within the bundle to change an item.

For example

They wish to purchase a bundle which includes 1 pair of socks, They have the option to choose 4-5 different coloured socks. If I create a new item that is ‘socks’ and gives them the option to choose the various colours, The stock quantity for the colour they’ve chosen doesn’t get altered. Only the new item stock quantities.

Im hoping there is something I can set up to stop me having to manually change the stock quantities after a sale is made.
