Bundles with Variable Products in them cant be added as variation

Hello,

first of all, I’m not sure if this is a bug or working as intended. I can’t add a Bundle containing a variable product as a variation in this add-on. It simply don’t get found via search.

If this is working as intended, maybe you can help me with what I’m tying to do. Here is my scenario:

• I have raw fabric as a product (variable product with 90 color-variations)
• I want to sell sawing-kits containing a sawing-plan/manual plus x amount of fabric (color is choosen by the customer)
• In my bundle product my customer has two things to decide: Size (S|M|L|XL what corresponds how many meters/yards fabric he needs for the sawing) and the color.

When I stumbled about this plugin, my plan was to build bundles:
1 x Sawing Guide and 10xFabric for size L
1 x Sawing Guide and 13xFabric for size XL and so on and
then bundle thease with the help of this plugin to the final product.

Does that makes sense? Any other ideas?
