Burst doesn’t work

    Hello, I have installed Burst into about 10 websites within the last 2 months. I am pleased of the plugin. On one particular site using WPML (not sure if it’s related) Burst doesn’t work.

    When i go into dashboard it says two things:

    “Please check if your REST API is loading correctly. Your site currently is using the slower Ajax fallback method to load the settings.”

    Then as notificatoins appears:

    “Server error in data/datatable: The response is not a valid JSON response”

    “Server error in data/devicesTitleandValue: The response is not a valid JSON response.”

    “Server error in data/devicesSubtitle: The response is not a valid JSON response.”

    “Server error in data/compare: The response is not a valid JSON response.”

    Hi @dmware,

    Do the other websites not use WPML? OR do they also have WPML but with different setings?

    It is likely that there is a conflict between Burst and WPML. If you provide us with more information we will probably be able to find the cause and then solve the issue.

    Hi @hesseldejong yes, I have found out that the actual problem is the plugin WPML Multilingual CMS.

    When I deactivate it, Burst plugin doesn’t throws errors. What information can I give you to investigate this further? Thanks.

    Hi @dmware,

    I have asked WPML for a developer license so I can do some checks. I hope they will provide one.
