I hope this is the correct place to ask this question, but I could not find a better place.
We are running a site with static pages and a news section which is updated every second day. We are not interested in CTR and other shop features. We are interested in delivering the information our readers would readers prefer.

We would love to go from google statistics to Burst, but before doing the transition and purchasing the PRO license I need to know if you support the following:

    1. Avg. read time for each post and page. Preferable as a list of posts/pages and as a widget on each post/page viewable for the author and admins.
    2. Top xx read posts and pages for any given time

    Hi @checksumdk,

In the statistics overview, in the ‘Pages’ block, you can choose to show the “time on page” metric. We don’t have an average read time for posts/pages at the moment. The way I understand average read time, it’s not actually a statistic, but a standard calculation based on the number of words on the page, divided by the number of words per minute that the average person reads. Is that what you’re referring to?

An average read time widget is something that should not be too difficult to add, but currently not available.

Top read posts: on the same ‘Pages’ block, you can sort by time on page or by pageviews, in this case I’m assuming you’d want to see the pages sorted by pageviews.

I’ve made some assumptions on what you’re looking for, but hope this explains what kind of data is shown in Burst. Please correct me if I didn’t understand you correctly.

I’d recommend to just install the free version to check out the available data. If I didn’t interpret your wishes correctly, let me know!

    Hi Rogier
    Thanks for your great answer.
Its the “Time on page”metric I mean ??
Can I read somewhere how you calculate the “Time on page” metric?

Do you have some screenshots of the “Pages” block?

Thanks a lot. Just what we are looking for.

We will test it on the live system soon.
