  • Hi Sandra,

as per DocCheck’s OAuth documentation subdomains need to be whitelisted use “.domain.xy” not “domain.xy” (1.3. Additional features). I’m attaching a link to the documentation below.

Happy to hear any feedback as we are in a similar scenario currently ??

    Kind regards,
    Niclas

    Dear Sandra,

from a license perspective, it is possible to run 3 subdomains beneath one domain. To get it running from a technical perspective we recommend you to configure the main domain in CReaM as a target domain.

For the subdomain the setup would be that the client secret and the login ID of the plugins within the subdomain system are the same as in the main domain.

This assures that all plugins use the same login. The rooting within the subdomains plugins can be different than the one from the name domain.

I hope that answered your question.

@antwerpes how would this affect logins on other sub-instances? If there are websites for each (sub)-domain and our goal is to authenticate the user for all subs within a domain as well, would the login work for all instances or does the user has to log in on every instance seperately?

@antwerpes thank you! Yes, that answered exactly my question. =)
    Kind regards
