Busted Links

  • I must have done something wrong in my upgrade to 2.3.1. Whenever I click on a post entry, month, category, etc., it takes me to the front page. It seems like the rest of my blog doesn’t exist. My blog is alephblog.com. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

  • I’d suggest trying to ‘refresh’ your permalink structure by going to Options > Permalinks and clicking Update Permalink Structure. Sometimes this behaves a bit buggy after an upgrade for some.

    I’ve already done that. All links take people to my front page.

    I’ve gotten most functionality back. I used the answer from this support post, and turned my permalinks back to simple.

    Now my file structure is back, but I lost the descriptive permalinks. I tried restoring those, and the problem returns.

    Any thoughts?
