Button does nothing

So I’ve added the button inside my loop of the custom post type I have made. For some reason when I click ‘favourite’ nothing happens at all – I have a feeling it has something to do with the theme I am making cause when I put it into another site where I use a pre-build theme it seems to work fine.
What could be causing this?
I’ve enabled WP_DEBUG and it shows no errors
