button media update not working?

    In cache navigator, when I press the update media button, after load, tell me to refresh the cache page and the button update media button continue active for press it, no is disable like before or always, that is my problem

    Maybe the button work well, but after press it, no is disable like default.

    I maybe can solve the problem deleting the config directory, but I no want config all again..

    Another question, W3 total cache need modify only the root .htaccess or also the instillation? When is in different directory

    I has the same “BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” in both .htaccess
    And I delete the script in installation directory

    You need check for only process the root .htaccess if I am right

    One suggestion is to default or recommend the javascript in async for LPC

    And you can add one symbol ? when you hover the mouse or press for show the info with the default value

    Check the button update media in navigator cache why no disable after press it or use it and the .htacess in the installation.

    About the button update, I think now is available because I changed the setting in Navigation Cache, I activated Prevent caching of objects after settings have changed, maybe for that the button media update is available now?

    Thank you for reaching out!
    The “Update media query string” button is always available in the option Performance>Browser Cache: Prevent caching of objects after settings change is enabled. If you do not want the button to be active you need to disable the option.

    As for the .htaccess, you can check the Performance>Install tab and there you can see which .htaccess file W3 Total Cache checks according to your configuration.

    I think is all correct, the htacces in the installation directory maybe was one error and now no appear more

    In the button, you can put one reference and/or link to Browser Cache, (becauses you no know how this was activated, that is my opinion but now I understand) Also can add the last date time was activated ??
