I forgot to mention that we’ve tried this with the EWP option in the paypal account settings deactivated.

Hi, unfortunately I cannot check the link above. Do you currently have a cache plugin running in your site?

Also, make sure you have entered the Live, Client ID and Secret keys in the plugins settings as per the following instructions.

    Kind regards.

Hi, thanks for your fast reply.

There is no cache plugin running.
Checked the ID and keys, they are correct.

I assume that, if they weren’t, transactions would not complete, right? But the money can actually be transferred. The problem is that instead of the return URL, this message appears:
“No transaction info found in transient”.

Hi, can you carry out a plugin/theme conflict test. The following instructions can help you.

    https://wp-express-checkout.com/forums/topic/test-for-plugin-and-theme-conflict-before-posting-an-issue-or-a-bug/

If the above does not help, can you enable the Debug Logging feature to help you troubleshoot this issue. The following documentation can help you. Once you enable the Debug Logging feature carry out a transaction. Then check the log files. Report back with any findings.

    https://wp-express-checkout.com/using-the-debug-log-to-troubleshoot/

Let me know how you go.

    Than you.

Hello, I also suspect a theme-plugin conflict. We tried deactivating some plugins that we thought could cause an issue, but there was no change.

We had also enabled the debug feature, and it read like this every time we tried a transaction in live mode:
[SUCCESS] Received IPN. Processing payment …
[FAIL] Code 3004 – No transaction info found in transient.

(As stated earlier, money was transferred, but it wouldnt redirect to the return url.)

In sandbox mode it was a success:

[SUCCESS] Received IPN. Processing payment …
    [SUCCESS] Sending buyer notification email.
[SUCCESS] Buyer email notification sent to: [email protected]. From email address value used: My business <[email protected]>
    [SUCCESS] Payment processing completed

We will consider your suggestion, thanks. However, we found it less time consuming and more convenient to try a different payment plugin at the moment.

    Hi,

However, we found it less time consuming and more convenient to try a different payment plugin at the moment.

I understand and makes total sense. Sorry you could not get our plugin to work.

If you decide to use our plugin again in the future and have an issue please create a new support thread.

I am marking this thread as resolved since you using a difference plugin.

    Thank you.
