How can I put a button on my popup so that when the user clicks the button (or image, or anywhere on the popup) it redirects them to another page with more information?

I tried putting the button in the text body, and a hyperlink, and I tried also creating an image link, but all I can do is click to turn the popup off, I can’t click any of these things to go to the other page I want to send people to.

I’d like for them to be able have the choice of 1) Turning off the popup and keep browsing like normal, or 2) Click on the offer on the popup to be redirected to a new page to learn more information.

    What am I missing? Thanks!

@wigglepit – Do you have a link I can look at? Any links inside the popup should work correctly unless they have either the popmake-close class or another popmake-123 type class on them.

General setup for your needs would be to set up a button/span with the popmake-close class and set the cookie to trigger on close. Then have a link to take them to the other url as well.

Thanks, I think I must be missing something from the instructions, because I can’t find anything talking about these classes you mentioned. Can you point me in the right direction? I’m still a little unclear. I’d share the link but don’t want it public yet, can I PM or email it to you?

I have an image on my popup and a button with a link. I’d like for when they click “close” for it to close like normal. But if they click the button or image, it takes them to another URL.

So do I add classes to the image and button? Then are you saying to have a link to take them to the other URL on the page after the popup is closed, like in the background? Sorry I’m being so dense!

    Thanks ??

@wigglepit – Sure danieliser at wizardinternetsolutions.com. Here is a quick guide on opening popups https://wppopupmaker.com/docs/getting-started/opening-a-popup/

That said the classes are found on the all popups section of the admin. Each Popup includes 2 classes by default popmake-ID and popmake-NAME where they ID and NAME are unique to each popup. Adding either class to a button will cause that button to open the popup on click.

For the content of a popup, adding the class popmake-close to a button or text in the popup will cause that button to close the popup on click.

If you add an image with a link though without any extra popmake classes it should function as normal.
