Button URL not working

I am trying to use buttons on one website to link to another of my sites, however, even though in the button settings the url reads as https://www.teachcircusinschools.co.uk/primary-schools
the link that is saving and that redirects to is as below?
How can I prevent this happening?
This also happens when I use the social buttons.
