Button with price ID doesn’t work, only sku

I’ve installed stripe checkout plugin 1.1.6, on wordpress 5,5+ (cannot determine current version thanks to dashboard “improvements” and update promptings)

Button with sku works fine, but the one with a recurring price id the button appears, but if you tap it nothing happens. I’ve deleted my WP cache, etc.. without success
