Button won't show up on my banner widget

    I made a button and pasted the short code into a regular text/html widget for my website. I’m using IgnitionDeck maximus theme and plugin. I have a site-wide banner image on my home page. On the widget that I used to make that, I have the option to insert title, text, etc. When I paste the shortcode into the text section, the button doesn’t show up but the text does.

    Can I only paste the shortcode in special areas?

    It most likely depends on the theme. Sometimes a theme will not allow you to add a shortcode to specific areas. I’d check with IgnitionDeck and see if they have a recommendation.

    I checked with IgnitionDeck and they were able to help.
