Buttons and related content missing

We are currently working on the Related Content app; development is in progress, and this app is being fleshed out as we quickly as we can code in the changes. Right now our focus is on the backend, but we will be adding more options to the Related Content edit panel while we continue building out this feature.

Will those changes be made in hard plugin updates or by updates on the back end, such as was the case with the display problem in Firefox?

Not just to beat a dead horse, but I’ll be glad when the related posts app starts showing posts that are related. For instance, I posted about Obamacare this morning and it is showing posts ranging from Ted Cruz to a post about idroid that is several years old.

@ld Jackson, thanks for mentioning that. I didn’t like that either. Another reason why i uninstalled Shareaholic.

@ld Jackson the recommendation engine backend update will be rolled out without needing a hard plugin update. We are very very close!

Will the backend update improve the way it chooses the posts?

My Shareaholic settings say the data has finished processing for the related content, but the posts it is showing still have no relation with the post they are showing with.

Seriously, I like the idea of Shareaholic and the sharing part of it works great, but I am going to have to disable the related posts. It’s embarrassing to post something about politics and have a post about Moneydance showing up in the related posts.
