• I have a page where the share buttons appear TEN TIMES ON THE SAME PAGE!

The page is created by WooTheme’s Testimonials plugin. EVERY TESTIMONIAL IS GETTING IT’S OWN ROW OF SHARE BUTTONS!

If I select “Hide Share Buttons” on this page, it only removed the one row at the bottom. It’s still then drawing NINE OTHER ROWS!

The only solution I know of is to use CSS and set the style to display: none; That’s just stupid, plus that page is taking a long time to load all that Shareaholic code which isn’t even being used.

How do you control WHERE and WHEN Shareaholic will appear? I’ve tried modifying the template, but it still shows up in locations where I don’t want it.

I’ve requested help directly from Shareaholic a few times, and gotten no response.

I’ve got another page that is getting two rows of buttons, one in the middle of the page for no apparent reason.

    I’m using Version 7.4.0.1

I’m about to give up on this plugin. It’s been more trouble than it’s worth, and the lack of support is telling (they don’t care)

    Hi Jim,

We really apologize for not getting back to you sooner. We DO care. It’s just that we’ve been experiencing higher than usual volume over the past few days.

Would you mind pointing us to a sample page where this issue is occurring so we can take a look?

Not sure what WooTheme’s is doing — but the simplest way to solve this may be to use Shareaholic shortcodes exactly where you want the buttons to appear in the template.

I first reported the problem over a month ago (which is more than a “few days”).

The “simpliest way” doesn’t address the problem. I can add a shortcode, or modify the template page, but this only determines where to add a row. The problem is not adding, but DELETING the RANDOM rows that are appearing.

I’ve currently got the Shareaholic buttons hidden, but if you inspect this page (e.g. Firebug) you’ll find them (after every testimonials-text class).

Then, another example is this page. There’s a second row of buttons appearing just before the Google map. I’ve had to hide them on this page as well.

I’ve tried disabling Shareaholic within the WP editor for the first page, but that only hides the last one at the bottom. The one appearing within the testimonials are not within my control.

The other example is a php template I’ve written. There’s dozens of these “event” pages. I cannot control the second (random) row that’s appearing in the middle of the page. I can add the template tag, and that inserted the row where I specific but the second row in the middle of the page still appears.
