That doesn’t explain where the error is originating.. therefore no help.

Is there any more to the error message.. perhaps another line above where you started the copy and paste?

    This line is your issue:

    "JQMIGRATE: jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated" jquery-migrate.js:41

But I don’t know what plugin/theme/whatever is calling it.

Wait… did you switch to WP Edit?
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-edit/

Ultimate Tinymce will no longer work properly with WordPress versions 3.9 and above.

After I’ve deleted the plugin the error message has gone.
Still I’m not able to use the WP-editor now. The WYSIWYG-editor is white.

I mean the standard editor – no editor plugins installed right now…

Wait…found it….another updated plugin causes the problem.

Thanks for your response, I will try your new plugin!

    Nice work the new plugin!

With the Tiny MCE Advanced it was possible to make some easy HTML changes like being able to choose not standard colors….why not with the new plugin?

    Hi,
Glad you got it working properly!

What exactly do you mean with the ‘standard’ colors?

I mean with ‘standard’ colors the colors of the font you are able to chose. With the Tiny I could choose for instance #f2f2f2 in an extra available field.

And one other thing: when I make extra white space below a text – after saving the space has gone…(?) This happens using Custom Post in a widget.
I need to add extra HTML: &nbsp

    Okay…
Lots of changes with the new WP tinymce4 editor.

Let’s play around with it for a day.. and confirm default behaviors of the editor.

I’m certainly not opposed to modifications.. but since so much has changed.. let’s make sure we fully understand how the foundation is supposed to work, before we go modifying ??

I will look into the color button, and see why specific hex colors cannot be entered.

    Thanks Josh!

If I may add some other thing. In the old editor on some pages I used 12 pnts font, when I use it now I’ll have to choose 10 pnts. Is this possible?

    (@josh401)

    Not currently.
I forgot that was an older modification I had first made when I developed ultimate tinymce.

I’ll fix this in WP Edit.. and get it in an update tonight or tomorrow.

Hi Josh, I don’t see a difference in the latest version.
Still conflicts between font sizes in the new and old version of the editor.

Please try manually emptying your browser cache.

I did. The funny thing is on pages where I used 12 pnts font I have to use 10 pnts for the same result. And where I used 10 pnts now I use 8 pnts, however in this case the new font still is some larger….

Also when adding something on old pages sometimes I have to make an extra line – &nbsp?– after an alinea. Return doesn’t work there.

I have read another thread about the custom colors. It’s a pity one can’t use font colors used before in the free version of the new plugin.

    Okay..
I’ll have to dig through trac and see if they modified this behavior somehow.

WAIT: Are you using ultimate tinymce or wp edit?
