Buttons not working
-
the buttons to increase or decrease the quantities on recipe page are not working on mobile
-
@recetteitalienne As noted in your other topics, the reason these buttons do not work in AMP URLs is due to their custom JavaScript usage.
If you’re using the plugins validation tool you can find any other third party plugin related or theme incompatibilities, while choosing a course of action which may include keeping or rejecting any validation issues highlighted.
I see that you’ve posted multiple topics recently, one for each of the particular issues that you are seeing. In the future, if you are seeing multiple issues on a single page, please combine them all into one single support topic, as it’s likely that they are all caused by the same issue, as was the case here. Thank you!
Hi i have red your replies including those on other topics. I am not tech savvy so I don’t really know what to do with this validation tool
@recetteitalienne Thanks for letting me know. In this case, the problem is that many of the other plugins that you are using are not AMP-compatible, which is why things are not displaying as expected on your site when you use our AMP plugin.
Unfortunately, the conflicts that are occurring are not the kinds of things that can be fixed easily if you are not technical. The best thing I can recommend is to try to find other plugins that are AMP-compatible that do the same things that your current plugins do, as as my colleague James suggested in one of your other topics. You can view all plugins that are compatible with AMP on the AMP website here.
Hi Bethany
Thanks gor your reply. Sounds very clear now.
I have just another question : is the Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg AMP compatible ? In fact I added a FAQ pluggin on this webpage https://recette-italienne.fr/comment-faire-un-risotto/ and I can’t display the answer on mobile. Is this something you can help me with?Glad to hear, @recetteitalienne!
It looks like there are a few plugins with similar names as Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg, so I’m unclear which one you are using. However, we don’t have any plugins by that name completely verified as AMP compatible. If you are seeing issues, the best next step would be to follow up with the plugin author to see if they can implement a fix.
As an alternative, Genesis Blocks is a confirmed AMP-compatible plugin that also includes an FAQ block like the one you’re currently using, so that might be worth a try.
Hi, I am using this one https://ultimategutenberg.com/
I tried to used Genesis Blocks but couldn’t find how to add a FAQpage.
Could you please see if there is a way to display the answers on amp page (https://recette-italienne.fr/comment-faire-un-risotto/)Hello @recetteitalienne
The Ulitmate Gutenberg Addon is using custom javascript for FAQ Block, which is not allowed on AMP pages so it’s not fully AMP Compatible.
I will recommend using the Genesis Block plugin’s Accordion Block to create an FAQ section on your page.
@recetteitalienne The FAQs block is an accordion style feature, so if you’ve already installed Genesis Blocks then you’ll need to use the “Accordion” block. You’ll find more information on this here, with Genesis Blocks having since incorporated all Atomic blocks into their own plugin.
Edit: We both seem to have replied at the same time! Let us know if you have any further questions on this and we’d be happy to help.

I have tried the Genesis block, the feature work well on mobile page, but there is no FAQpage structured data with the genesis block
@recetteitalienne Understood! I’d suggest getting in touch with the Genesis Blocks support team and sharing your feedback to see if they can help.
Since it sounds like there is no longer an AMP plugin issue to discuss here, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
Hello ! I have reached the Genesis block support team and they do not provide any support for FAQpage structured data. Could you please provide me with any Additional CSS or any other plugin to enable answers display on my faqpage just as @milindmore22 helped with the menu issue?
Thank you
@recetteitalienne Did you try the JetPack FAQs block? This plugin also has an accordion feature and I believe it may include the related structured data.
Alternatively Yoast have an FAQs block although it’s not in an accordion style.
Let me know how you get on with the above. If you prefer you can also create your own accordion and add your own schema markup by using the amp-accordion component, although it would take a bit more effort than the plugins above.
Hi, I installed the Jetpack plugin and did some research, but did not find any faqs block, can you tell me more how to use it?
I also tried to build my own accordion but it didn’t work well : i did have the schema structured data but there was no accordion
Hi @recetteitalienne. In that case please try an alternative plugin such as Kadence Blocks. You’ll find an accordion block when using the default WordPress editor, which seems to use Schema markup.
For any questions going forward with third party blocks plugins you can follow with the respective plugins support forum and they should be able to assist.
Hi thanks, is this plugin amp-compatible?
