Buy/Add-to-cart or Contact for details Button

    Hi! In my store, there will be quite a few high end products (￡10,000+) that I don’t want to pass through to our Payment Processor e.g Paypal, due to very high commission charges it will attract. Are there facilities within WooCommerce, to deine if a particular product can skip the normal Checkout process i.e. Buy Now/Add-to-cart and, instead, have a different Button e.g. Contact To Place An Order that the visitor can click, allowing them to complete a Form, instead. Or is there the ability to create a payment option, for say, bank transfer.

    @bsthp Out of the box there isn’t a setting in WooCommerce to set this kind of restriction on selected products. However, there are a few workarounds I can think to help you achieve a similar setup.

    A plugin like Catalog Visibility Options would allow you to disable purchases for a specific product. You could then also use an extension like Product Enquiry Form, which would let you add a contact form in one of the tabs of the product page.

    Alternatively, if you’d like to enable Bank Transfer as a payment option only for this product, you can use the core Bank Transfer method, and then use a plugin like Conditional Shipping and Payments to limit the products that this option is available for.

    I hope this helps provide some clarity about the different available options.
