Or just use a form plugin so you can capture info and have the form email them with a download link.

I think a form plugin was what I was looking for.
Easy Digital Downloads looks great for use later on.

Usually this would be done via mailchimp (I’m assuming you’re collecting an email address as a tradeoff for the ebook).

Then you just create an auto-responder in mailchimp with a link to your ebook.
