Buy only main product

  • Hi,

    I have a main product + a few grouped products sold together. I want customers to be able to buy only the main product if they prefer. But, add to cart button is greyed out until they choose at least one other grouped products.

    it says “Please choose at least one of the listed products before adding this grouped product to the cart.”

    How can I activate the add to cart button even if they don’t choose any of the grouped products but only want to buy the main product?

    FYI, it’s required for some special product types such as Smart bundle/grouped/composite to have existing, purchasable products in your store added as sub-products inside. All sub-items must be purchasable with a valid price to make the main bundle/grouped/composite in stock. So there’s no way an empty grouped product can work without any valid sub-product inside.

    It’s not an empty grouped product. There’s a main product (main service) and there are 8 other sub-products(extra services like add-ons to the main service) inside. But I want the main product purchasable even if the clients doesn’t choose any of the sub-products.

    You can’t do that in this type of group. You just able to remove sub products after adding to the cart but can’t add only the main product to the cart. For your require, you can refer to another plugin WPC Frequently Bought Together for WooCommerce
