Buy with Gpay on Single Products Page – how does freight get added in here ?

    Hi

    If Stripe options for Gpay is on single product page, and client clicks on Add item to Cart and then choose this payment method from Product Page, then this will NOT have the freight attached, it sends them straight to Gpay without freight ?

    OR how can we rectify this ?
    Seems like it misses a step, if you have the “GPAY” option on the Single Product Page, then there are NO options to choose freight here, therefore customer buys and pays without freight ?

    Am I missing something here ?

    Yes, you have it backwards. The customer doesn’t need to click the Add to cart button then click the payment buttons. If they click GPay, the item is added to their cart automatically.

    GPay displays the available shipping methods if the product requires shipping and you have your shipping methods configured. The same goes for Apple Pay.

    Can you confirm if I have FREE Shipping for orders over $150 and $25 shipping for orders under $150 and the customer is on the Single Product Page and buys from this page clicking on Gpay, will the Gpay know to add the correct freight OR free freight ?

    @kristinubute Yes the plugin uses all WC code to display shipping methods so it’s no different then when shipping methods show on the checkout page.
