buyCred Payment Gateway Thread

Okay, hot topic for all of us who use buyCred. I know the developer went dark for a bit and I have no issues with that. I have gotten literally to the last step of establishing this in-site currency without any outside help except what tidbits I could learn on my own via these forums and elsewhere. I was hoping to get some love from the community to get me over this last hump.

My problem is the payment gateway not working (specifically for Paypal). I am hesitant to purchase a premium gateway because I would feel more secure handling all transactions on a remote server on let’s say Paypal.

When I process payments in sandbox mode, everything seems to work. I get to the processing screen and it shows the info the plugin is sending to Paypal. I have everything linked in Paypal and set up etc.

I switch to live mode and I can’t even get to the processing screen. Instead, all I see is that the transaction cannot be completed.

Has anyone come across this and solved this issue?

I am in contact with Paypal’s customer support. I will publish the fix if they come to a solution before you folks do. I’d like to help anyone else who comes up against this issue.
