Buyers are able to pay without Tax or Shipping Fees via Amazon Pay

    We use the WooCommerce Amazon Pay plugin by Woocommerce. When a product is added to the cart, the cart offers users a tax and shipping calculator in the cart. 6 times in the last 24 hours, users have skipped the calculation and have simply clicked PROCEED TO CHECKOUT and then clicked AMAZON PAY and have been able to check out completely without every paying the mandatory sales tax or shipping fee.

    How do we FORCE users to calculate tax and shipping before paying with Amazon?

    We’ve tried disabling the cart calculator and it still lets them pay without tax.

    I understand what you are saying, it looks that some users avoided the shipping calculator and forgot to add their Shipping codes/addresses.

    This custom code could be used to require the shipping calculator before proceed checkout.

    Isn’t this a major flaw in the WooCommerce Amazon Pay plugin by Woocommerce that should be fixed rapidly in the plugin itself rather than doing a workaround with a snippet?

    I don’t think that this is a casual request for a new feature. Millions of people can now check out on millions of websites and bypass paying any shipping fees or sales taxes simply by using your Amazon Payment plugin. This should be fixed ASAP.

    We’ve uninstalled the partially-developed plugin and will no longer offer it on our websites.
