#bwg_container1_0 hidden by default?

    Hi

    This plugin looks very interesting. I downloaded and installed the latest version v1.2.5.

    Image Browser, Compact Galleries.. all work except for Slideshow. I tried it on three different browsers, cleared the caches, and also reset all plugin options to default.

    The slideshow div #bwg_container1_0 is always:
    visibility: hidden;

    If I go into FireBug or Safari inspector, and disable this CSS rule, then it all works.. but any (obvious) setting that I’ve misconfigured (NOTE that I *have* reset to default options).

    Dear g_dub,

    Please be informed, that the slideshow is working the following way: it is firstly hidden, and after all of the images are loaded, the slideshow appears. This is done to ensure that it works properly.

    So there probably is a conflict with your website’s theme, and some Javascript errors might be on the page. Could you please give us a link to your gallery page?

    I’m running into DNS issues creating a separate TEST environment for this scenario. but I do appreciate your SUPER fast response. Once I can upload the (non)working code live, I’ll post here again.

    Okay got the simple case working now.. but in integrating it with a lightbox feature, I’ve run into an obstacle.

    At https://test.annexgroup.com/annex-team/ , see the top row of 4 thumbnails. The top-right picture (mouse hover shows “Works Great”) works with Photo Gallery slideshow linking to another WordPress page.

    Top left image (the blond woman) hangs because the Design Firm decided to put a slideshow on a lightbox. I’m using the most lightweight one I could find, at https://www.jacklmoore.com/colorbox/ . The Photo Gallery hangs.

    The 2nd image from the left (mouse hover shows “”Hangs with Callback)” is the same, but with debug on in Colorbox. I suspect there’s a conflict and Photo Gallery slideshow cannot initialize .. can you give me a hint as to which function (e.g. spider_frontend_ajax() ) and which parameters to initialize Photo Gallery after Colorbox’s onLoad()?

    Please be informed, that our Photo Gallery is not placed on this page. Could you please publish it to a page/post and give us a link? As you mentioned in your very first post, the slideshow wasn’t working, so please publish it as a slideshow.

    Yes, it’s not working because of a javascript conflict with the lightbox plugin. I now realize that it’s unfair to ask you to support such a usage (the web designer insisted on a slider on a lightbox.. but I have yet to see a working config on WordPress that supports this!).

    Please close this support request, and accept my thanks for quick responses and sincere attempt to help.
