• I have used a few editors over the past years, but this is my least favorite one. Fiddling with the blocks menu, which only appears whenever it wants drives me mad.

Hi there. What do you mean by “blocks menu”?

Hi Matias, I’m referring to the blocks action menu, where you copy, change, duplicate etc. the selected block.

Thanks for clarifying! It randomly disappears even when you have a block selected? Does it improve if you use the “top toolbar” option: https://cloudup.com/cOGQAp_ZZtJ

The hover is not the issue, it’s the general experience when trying to edit your content.
    An example:

    H3 Headline
row with 2 columns (img in left column, paragraph in right column)

    Cursor is in right column.

    Problems:
    – Adding a row between the headline and the row is not possible, cause the action menu is blocking the [+]
    – deleting the row with 2 columns requires too many steps, assuming you manage to select the row and not the columns
    – the columns block also adds a “data-carousel-extra” to the div tag, which makes cursor=pointer

With nothing unselected you should be able to see the inserter in-between: https://cloudup.com/cmcvK-OCD8P

You could alternatively use the action menu’s insert before/after; select the heading: https://cloudup.com/c7jBO1GJCBv

There’s a breadcrumb now on the block toolbar that should let you select the parent column more easily to remove.

Alternatively, the new “list view” accessed from the header can be the fastest way to select? We’ll be adding the ability to remove directly from this view.

The data-carousel-extra must be coming from some plugin?

    OK, thanks. I’ll try that
