By role visibility not working

    I started using this plugin because another one I was using stopped working and wasn’t being updated. I really liked this one, and it appeared to work instantly. However, now it doesn’t… I am experiencing three issues with it:

    • Every time I select a menu item to change and click a role (to add or remove visibility), the first click adds the avatar shortcode to the menu heading. I then have to manually delete it each time.
    • When I select a combination of roles for the visibility of one menu item, that combination appears to be copied to every subsequent menu item (thankfully not to all, but when there are lots of menu items/submenu items below, it’s most irritating to have to change them all).
    • Most annoyingly, the selections I am making appear to make no difference. I have three bespoke user types created by the Members plugin. I can select these types/roles to show or hide specific menu items, but the plugin just hides them all, sort of defeating the point of having it…

    WP 6.6.2
    DMiDP 2.4.3
    php 8.1.30

    Has anything changed recently that could be causing the third failure? (The first one was present when I first installed it.)
