    Hello,

we came just to say goodbye to AIOSEO. The plugin served us for many years, but in this update you introduced a lot of things and forgot the most important thing: usability. Now when we publish a post we must execute several tasks, since there is no way to make them remain fixed (for example, choosing the image of the post for Facebook and Twitter). In one of our installations the plugin “steals” the focus when we start to edit a post. The new AIOSEO has too many problems and now it is impossible to work comfortably. We are uninstalling it and we are installing another plugin, but we wanted you to know that it was a good time that you gave us until a few days ago. Thanks a lot.

    Hey @jorgeletralia,

We’re sorry to hear that you do not like the new version of the plugin.

If you are willing to work with us, then we can definitely get these issues sorted for you.

I’m not entirely sure what you fixed tasks, but I’m assuming that you mean that you have to set an OG/Twitter image for every post. You should be able to simply set a default image in the Social Networks menu for both sites.

Also, what do you mean exactly with “AIOSEO steals the focus”? Does the page scroll down to our metabox when you click to edit a post, or do you mean that our metabox appears at the top? For the latter we have a filter hook so that you can control this.

    Hi, Arnaud:

In the first case, I meant that there are many AIOSEO settings that could be fixed only once, but we had to do it every time we created a new post. Now I don’t remember exactly which ones, as we uninstalled the plugin two days ago.

In the second case, yes, the page scrolled down to the AIOSEO metabox when we clicked to edit a post.

Thank you for offering to help us. However, we found many problems in the plugin. We publish several entries daily and we need an environment free from unnecessary hassles.

We will keep the plugin active in one of our domains to evaluate its evolution.

    Thanks once again,

    Jorge.
