Finally the Great Jetpack Paywall has arrived. I really can’t justify ￡6.95 a month for a stats widget on my homepage. Not sure who made up the Maths on this one…
I’m sure you little devils were all laughing in a blue-themed board room when you concocted the plan to steal our data from us all, lock it in a room and make us pay a toll each time we want to visit…
I’m also sure there’s a trail of a dozen broken promises you made to us… since we signed up nearly a decade ago…
…I liked Jetpack tho ?? with your ugly design, and weird layouts and 100 useless options to go through and turn off… maybe it’s just nostalgia though… I’ve always known Jetpack is a bloated hog, but I kept you anyway, loading you alongside my real-stats ?? it’s a shame…
Alas, plenty more GA stats plugins in the sea and one less script to load going forwards…
