    WordPress doesn’t come with a built-in cache.

Are you using any sort of caching plugin, or do you see a “Clear/Purge Cache” button in your Dashboard or admin bar? If so, would you please try clearing the cache?

Note: You do not need to install a caching plugin at this point just to clear a cache you don’t have. If you don’t have a caching plugin or a way to clear a server-level cache, just say so. ??

    Hi,

Thanks for answering, what is the difference between clearing the cache and purge the cache? Can it be dangerous for all the content on the wordpress site? I had installed wordpress rocket but doesn’t seem to work when i cleared the cache.

    Thanks in advance!

Nothing really, different caching systems use different words for that, most commonly either “clear” or “purge.”

No, you’re only clearing the cache, which will regenerate from your existing content.

Since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://wp-rocket.me/support/

Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
