• Hi,

    I had Cache Enabler Plugin running but caused some problems. So I deactived it and deleted it.

    But I realized, that there is still some code snippet in my site.

    Why is that so and how can I remove it?

    This is what I see:

    <!-- Cache Enabler by KeyCDN @ Sun, 14 Jul 2024 09:47:55 GMT (https-index.html) -->

    I expect that this will be removed when deactivating the plugin and deleting it”!!!!!

    Regards

    Marco

    I guess theres not the code in the .htaccess, but when you look at my source code of my page you still see in the last line this one: <!– Cache Enabler by KeyCDN @ Sun, 14 Jul 2024 09:47:55 GMT (https-index.html) –>
    I need to get rid of it as this causes problems.

    Please help where I can delete this. Thank you

    @marcobutz If you didn’t clear the site cache before disabling, the cached files are still loading from the hosting directory. Simply use your FTP client to log in to your hosting root > wp-content > cache > and fully delete the folder “cache-enabler”.
