Cache for European Union and outside it

    Hello,

    I was wondering if it is possible to cache for the countries that are INSIDE the European Union and OUTSIDE it.

    I need this because of the taxes and prices. All countries that are in the European Union have to see prices WITH VAT and every other country – WITHOUT VAT.

    I know that there is a variable called GEOIP_CITY_CONTINENT_CODE, but the problems is that some of the countries that are in Europe are not in the European Union.

    Is it maybe possible to do the caching by the GEOIP_CITY_CONTINENT_CODE, but also on top of that add a list of countries (one by one) that are not in the European Union.

    so if your server is within EU , the crawler should be act like a EU visitor

    if not , you can get a server in EU , some of them could be very cheap, like 5 dollar per month , and crawl from there.

    Even if it may read like a solution, this solution is not an unconditional solution. For example, when using guestmode, the value for the _lscache_vary cookie does not match. In addition, this solution implies that the built-in crawler could be used for a denial-of-service attack. Especially since there is no feedback on load control.

    hi to everyone i’m very interested in this thread i have the same problem… but using another cache plugin (before i used litespeed) if i use the woocommerce geolocalization it will generate one cookie for each visitor so the website will be not cached or better cached for each cookie that is useless (my site not cached is very slow) i ask you if exist a way to use geolocalization to make all visitors from Europe to have only one site cached (and not many for each geo-cookie), and the others (etra EU) another site cached… so all visitors see a fast cached site depending on EU or not EU location….
