    Hey Support,
I have installed the plugin, however there is an issue with:
“Could not toggle the WP_CACHE constant in wp-config.php. Check your permissions”

    How do I fix this?
Should the permission be changed on the server (via ftp).
    Which number combination is needed?

    Thanks a lot
    Kind regards
    Lene

    Hi Lene,

This error means that WP-Optimize wasn’t able to write in the file “wp-config.php” to add the required code.

To allow this to work, you need to give that file enough permission for WordPress to write in it.

The file is usually located at the root of your WordPress installation. You can find instructions on how to do this using a FTP client such as Filezilla here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/ftp/change-permissions/

Do not hesitate to ask if you need more assistance.

    Best regards,
    Bryle
