Frequently when a new post is published, it appears on the homepage as it should, but the cache for the category page is not updated, so the newest post does not appear there.

These posts are usually scheduled to publish ahead of time, so perhaps that is contributing to the problem? I have duplicated the issue on a dev site. A post that was published immediately showed up on both the homepage and the category page. A post that was scheduled to publish showed up only on the homepage. Only after I cleared the cache did it show up on the category page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @bhammondcvl

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Are you using the native WP schedule or using some other way of scheduling the posts?
Can you also please share the options enabled in the Purge Policy?
    Thanks!

It is just the native post scheduling, not an additional plugin or anything.

    The caching settings are:
    Page Cache
    – enabled
    – method: Disk: Enhanced
    Opcode Cache:
    – Zend Opcache
    – validate timestamps (not enabled)
    Database Cache:
    – enabled
    – method: Disk
    Object Cache:
    – enabled
    – method: Disk
    Browser Cache:
    – enabled
    CDN:
    – not enabled
    Fragment Cache:
    – not enabled

Ah, sorry. Under purge policy, these are checked:
    – Front page
    – Post page
    – Blog feed

    The rest are unchecked.

    Hello @bhammondcvl

    Thank you for the information.
Can you please try enabling the following:

    Post comments pages
     Post author pages
     Post terms pages

Save all settings and purge the cache and see if the issue persists after the scheduled post is being published.
    Thanks!
