    Happy holidays!

We’ve been doing some interesting things with your plugin on our small site and it’s quite nice. We use it for film reviews and have custom posts and tags for things like directors, writers, cast and keywords for the films. That allows us to provide related posts by each of those instead of just a single grouping. However, we’ve been told by a couple trusted coders (and with the support of the very helpful Query Monitor plugin, that our use of Related Posts was dragging the performance down and creating very slow SQL queries (like nearly a second just for the query to run). So I finally enabled the persistent cache feature and it’s working, but something happened.

If you look at this page:

    https://slashcomment.com/movie-reviews/allied-review/

You’ll see the example on the right sidebar of three sections all from your plugin. Nice.

However, then look at this page:

    https://slashcomment.com/movie-reviews/miss-sloane-review/

You’ll notice NO sidebars for related posts. There should be three. One for related posts for the writer, one for other related films by the leading cast and one for other related films (based on keywords). They all were there prior to turning on the cache. Several reviews are now experiencing this issue.

    Any ideas?
