    Hi,

I have a cache problem (I think) with the content control plugin on my website. When a user visits a restricted page (or article) before logging in, even if they have the role of the user who should be able to access the page (customer role in my case), there is always the restriction .

But if the user logs in directly when arriving on the website before going to the restricted page there is no problem if he is the customer role.

Thank you for helping me, this is urgent.

    Cheers,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @almaimoune,

I have a cache problem (I think) with the content control plugin on my website.

Have you tested with your caching disabled on your WordPress site, hosting provider, and CDN provider? If so, is the issue you saw still happening?

When a user visits a restricted page (or article) before logging in, even if they have the role of the user who should be able to access the page (customer role in my case), there is always the restriction.

That’s correct. If there’s a logged-in restriction, your visitor must log in for the restriction to go away (depending on what roles you’ve selected of course).

If you have a logged-in restriction and you’re not logged in, you’ll see the restriction. That’s the basic design of the plugin.

The restriction will either be a redirect or a denial message depending on what you set up.

But if the user logs in directly when arriving on the website before going to the restricted page there is no problem if he is the customer role.

That’s also expected as you’ve mentioned.

    Can you let us know:

    1) What you expect the plugin to do (i.e., the use case) for your site

    2) The exact issue you are seeing (details and screengrabs are helpful)

    3) The steps to reproduce your issue

    Thanks so much ??

    Mark
