If I add 2592000 (30 days) will this result in a slower page load, due to larger cache file size? Thanks

I am testing this now. It seems the feeds are not updating as usual. Am I doing something wrong?

This depends on your cache values you use. If you use 1 month for cache, you will get updates each 1 month.
