After 1 day the cache is about 600mb and I get a warning email and blinking red warnings in admin. This is a store with around 150 products and 30 or so pages.

The server has 70GB free space. Does it matter if the cache gets big, why do I have to clear it? Can I change the cache size warning ?

theoretically you could ignore the cache size warning, but a fast growing cache is an indication of bigger issues so I would advise to reconfigure Autoptimize to stop this from happening really by disabling “also aggregate inline JS” and “also aggregate inline CSS” to start with?

Thanks, also aggregate inline JS is already disabled, I’ll try to disable “inline all CSS”.
But how to find what’s causing this?

typically this is a plugin injecting CSS that is not static, and it’s the changes in that CSS that causes AO to re-create cached CSS files bloating the cache. unticking “also aggregate inline CSS” fixes that, but you *could* also try to identify and exclude the specific CSS by comparing the un-optimized (by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL) CSS of a couple of pages.

Can I disable “also aggregate inline CSS” while keeping “inline all CSS” enabled?
