• First – Great plugin! Thank you.

Occasionally BWP-Minify’s cache-ing completely stops working, bringing my server to its knees – Likely its related to permissions settings of the cache directory on my server. BWP Minify cannot write to its cache directory unless the cache directory is CHMOD’ed to 777 (I get the warning: “Please try CHMOD your cache directory to 755. If you still see this warning, CHMOD to 777.” unless its 777.) Because I don’t want to leave any directories CHMOD’ed 777, I do a cache flush manually when I update any theme or plugin files. But occasionally it seems like it will inexplicably stop cache-ing, even with some valid files in the cache directory (all the files get downloaded fine, but nothing is cached, so server load goes nuts). Seems like it shouldn’t need to be 777, (wp supercache is saving files fine to a folder which is 755, same owner and group as bwp minify cache dir…) … Any thoughts appreciated ??
