Hi searchbuzz, “delete cache” deletes only cached files. If you changed something in style files, you need to use “Delete Css&Js Cache” tool.

The minified settings? I of course cleared those too.

I even cleared that, then removed the plugin, disabled the setting to minify the CSS and JS and those files were still there.

the folder names don’t changes. They are generated with md5(). but the files in the folder changes. they are generated with time().

Minified css files are generated if there is no such files.

Can you look at the creation time after clearing the minified files?

I wasn’t sure where to check the creation time, however I left the plugin off for 12 hours, made some more CSS changes and although the css files that include ‘pagespeed’ and the extra characters in the URL are still there, it appeared to load the new version at last.

I just tried it on my work computer too and its also loading there. It seems to just be some kind of delay with those files generated, even if I remove them from FTP, clear them in the settings etc, the files simply remain.
