Cached images from wp.com preventing features from theme

Hi there!
I recently had a guided install from wp.com to wp.org and while the process was smooth and trouble free – it is not until I realised there is a small issue.

I went to the support of my new theme for the site in regards to my images not appearing on the sliders properly, they had advised that it is because my images are still being cached from wp.com, even the new ones uploaded.
Their support noticed the following in the database:

Array ( [0] => https://i0.wp.com/footprintsandmemories.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/20130609WA_Perth_Roadtrip-029.jpg?resize=1024%2C768 [1] => [2] => )

I have had a look at various other forums and can’t seem to find the solution to how to resolve this. Can someone please help?

I am not super knowledgable at WP settings so will require a bit of step by step description please… ??
