    Hey Emre,

I have the problem on my site draussenlust.de, that cached pages are shown to logged in users, including me as the admin. The option “Don’t show the cached version to logged-in users” is checked, all other options are checked, except the preload option.

I could share the .htacces file with you. Where to put it?

    What can I do?

    Thank you in advance,
    Alex

there must be a server-side cache system. you need to disable it.

    Hey Emre,

    thanks for your answer!

I have done this (like written in the description of my hosting company):
    in .user.ini added “opcache.enable=0”
and in .htaccess added “Header always set Cache-Control: s-maxage=0”
but it seems to have no effect.
Logged in users (subscribers) still see cached pages and seemed to recognized as non-logged in users on some pages.

    You can test it here:
    https://draussenlust.de/login
    U: Emre
    P: test1708

When logged in, you should see the black admin bar in top of the page. Then please click on “Startseite” or other pages and categories and you should see, that you’re not always logged in. (Logged in users shouldn’t see AdSense Ads, too.)

    Do you have an idea?

    regards,
    Alex

    Hey Emre,

seems, that I was a little bit impatient. Now, with the new server-side settings, it seems to work proper.

    Thanks for your advise!

    yes, great!

Hello, I wanted to add here my problem and its solution for anyone interested. My .htaccess file has permission set to 444 for security purposes, had to set that to 644 then set the plugin setting “Don’t show the cached version for logged-in users” to off then on, after that the problem was solved: front end wp toolbar bar missing because o cache.
