I switched from SuperCache to W3 Total Cache some time ago. I’ve recently realized that a single post on my site seems locked in the past–the SuperCached version, generated 29 Sep 2013, still is served.

    The offending post:

When I view this post in WordPress, the black tool bar across the top of the page is missing.

I’ve looked at a dozen other posts at random and this issue doesn’t repeat with any other post I’ve found.

I’ve cleared caches numerous times and I’ve edited and updated the post–didn’t cure the problem.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

I found a mysterious directory in the root, name = post name, that contained an index file comprising the seemingly cached post. How the directory got there, I’ve no idea. I renamed the directory, and the problem was gone.
