We had been using WP-Optimize on our website for years. Updated it to the latest version 3.2.9 on October 6th. Since then our disk space usage jumped from under 2GB total to over 28 GB & counting – & we are being charged overage fees from our web host. Hundreds of directories containing hundreds of of files have been created hourly in /wp-content/cache/wpo-minify/123numbers456/assets while none of the older ones were deleted. I wasn’t able to open the WP-Optimize settings admin screen to evaluate/adjust any of the settings & have deactivated it until I know that it’s safe to use again.

@megseoh You need to turn off the debug mode.

Go to Dashboard => WP-Optimize => Minify Settings

    Click on Advanced tab

Look in the Advanced Options section

Turn off Enable debug mode setting
