We are working on a solution where you will get an additional link or when you access wp-admin link you will be logged in.

The problem with cache is that it does not load the plugins because it wants to load the page quick.

Thanks for the reply. If you do add a link that logs the user in, I hope you will consider adding or making a way for it to redirect back to the page they were trying to access. That would be great.

… just wanted to ask for the same.
Would be great to have a link option to login including a redirect option (previous or custom page)!!

just as a note and maybe to speed up development: I’d be willing to pay for that feature – so maybe it could be a great addition to your PRO version ??

    Just sent you an email!

    Any update on this?

    Hi,

We have added “Redirect to” feature in the IP Based Login pro version which should be helpful to overcome your situation.

You can create a new page/post e.g. auto-login and exclude this page from cache.

While adding the IP range you can specify a link where the user should be redirected after login so here you can add custom page or just add index.php

Share the auto-login page URL to your users and they can access that page which will create the session for them and they will be redirected to the appropriate page.

Note: auto-login is just an example and you can use any name you would like for the page.

Do let us know if this resolves your issue.

The plugin was working like a charm until recently- when we noticed that users were not being logged in through IP anymore. After some tests, we quickly figured that caching was the problem.

We have disabled caching for some pages (like account and login) and it started working perfectly again. Now when IP-based access users do not get in automatically through the first visit (because of caching), they only have to click on the login or account page and get automatically logged in through there again (as there is no caching for these pages and the plugin loads normally here).

We will soon purchase the pro version to add an automatic redirection from the login page to the content after log-in. – This is not necessary for the plugin to function but it is a chic add-on solution.

    Thank you for the confirmation.

I will mark this thread as resolved as there is no response from the original poster and received a confirmation from @svenkk that the solution provided few weeks back works.
