I used hummingbird when developing a page for a customer.

After a while, I saw that I had some problems with caching, so I uninstalled it (sometimes actually, to be honest). I tried to remove all the transients, and all files related to caching.

However, when running the page in an anonymous tab, I see my domain loading with the cached (but already excluded) version of hummingbird. I note this, because in the source code, it has the signature in the comments.

And this is a problem, as my PageSpeed ??is detecting this cached version, and I can’t do anything to change it.

I already removed WP_CACHE from my wp-config. I’ve already removed the advanced-cache.php file, reinstalled it, deactivated everything, cleared the caches and uninstalled again and nothing happens. I’m looking for a solution on time, so I need help.

    my domain is https://towncarcuritiba.com.br

Below is an image of how the page is being rendered, and how the pagespeed is rendering as well.

    Hi there @maykelesser

If Hummingbird is currently deactivated, there is no way it can be caching your pages. ??

So if you’re still seeing the Hummingbird comments in source code after deactivating the plugin, that means your pages are being cached by something else.

I checked your domain’s DNS to be sure it’s not routing through CloudFlare, and it isn’t, so that’s not an issue.

The first thing for you to check is if you have some other cache plugin active that may be serving a cached version. If there is, flush that plugin’s page cache and you should be good to go.

If no other cache/optimization plugin is active, check for Endurance Cache under Settings > General in your site wp-admin to see if that’s enabled. (I looked up your site and see it’s hosted by one of the hosts in the EIG group, so that’s a distinct possibility.)

If neither of those prove useful, you’d want to check if there’s any additional cache enabled at your host.

Please do let us know if you still need help with this.

    Cheers!
    Patrick
