Warning! WP Super Cache caching was broken but has been fixed! The script advanced-cache.php could not load wp-cache-phase1.php.The file /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/advanced-cache.php has been recreated and WPCACHEHOME fixed in your wp-config.php. Reload to hide this message.

This message is always present on the admin page, even if I reload. Despite this, caching seems to be functioning normally.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Do you have the plugin installed in wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/ ?

I checked the source of your homepage and there’s no sign of the usual comment the plugin adds at the end. It might not be working ok.

The plugin is in the correct folder. The comments it adds were disabled in the plugin settings when I was debugging and I forgot to enable it again. I just enabled the setting again.

OK, I still don’t see the comments in the HTML source of your page, so something is definitely wrong. It might be worth reinstalling the plugin completely.

Also, check that WPCACHEHOME in your wp-config.php points at where the plugin is installed.

Check that the advanced-cache.php in wp-content looks like the file of the same name in the plugin. Some hosting companies don’t allow caching plugins and maybe they’re deleting it.

Strange. Reinstalling the plugin fixed the issue, thank you.
