Hello Alex and Andrew. I’ve just saw the topic in Githup for caching improovement and i wonder if these changes fix an issue i’m facing with posts carousel and cache(i’m using w3 total cache).
We’ve discussed this issue last summer and again 2 years ago.
I use posts carousel in almost every page (in many of them i use multiple). Every morning i have to manually empty the page cache to view posts more than 10 (the default value). If i don’t, in every page using carousels i can access the 10 first posts and then blank. This happens in every page with one or more carousels.
When i empty cache everything Ok just for one day. Next morning, again i can access the default value (only the 10 first posts). Of course mentioned this to w3 total cache, and the conclusion is to disable page cache but then my site runs slower… I’m sure that the problem is a compination of how carousel loads the next posts and of course the way w3tc handles this.
So i’ve decided, that every morning, before i drink my coffee, i have to empty page cache ??
Don’t know if you can reproduce this (post carousel with more than 10 posts + w3tc).
Thanks again for your great plugin and your support!

    Hi Nick,

The changes are more regards to Page Builder CSS caching so it’s unlikely to assist with the issue you’re facing. I’ve had a look at a few of your last posts and you previously mentioned that you were able to resolve this issue by enabling the “Prevent caching of objects after settings change” and “Update media query string”. Are those settings still enabled?

Don’t know if you can reproduce this (post carousel with more than 10 posts + w3tc).

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to replicate this issue.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

    Hi Nick,

Correction to my last rely. I meant the Widget Styles CSS Caching. This functionality will alert CSS when we clear/add CSS files.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

Hello Alex and thank u for your reply. I thought it was resolved… but i was wrong. I’ve tried many different setups but no luck…Well i’ll continue to purge manually the cache. Thanks again for support. I will close the topic.
